We send you the warmest of holiday wishes! We are making progress on our Christmas Fundraiser, but, we really need your help!
So far we have raised $1140 but we are still short $4826 to reach our goal. The Christmas fundraiser is in addition to the ongoing programs. This fundraiser is for school related equipment. 100% of gifts received will be used for these projects.
Here is an example of how your past gifts have changed lives in the village school.
The director of the Ternava village school sent us pictures and a thank you letter with thanksgiving to all of the American people who have helped buy three computers, and for sports equipment for educational trips in the mountains. It was the first adventure for the students to go camping together with their teachers. They had a wonderful time. Without the camping equipment, the students could not participate in the inter-school competitions that are held every autumn. Teachers and students are very grateful to you, dear friends, that you made it possible for them to join the competition.
In February, your donations bought three computers for the village school. In September your financial help bought three more computers. Now each student in the small village classroom has a computer to work with. The government does not pay attention to small village schools. The school of Ternava appreciates your gifts and is deeply grateful to all of you.
Our goal is for school equipment to help enhance the children’s education and give them a fighting chance in Ukraine’s tough economy.
